The Bizzar.Server package is nothing new to the internet world, however I've taken the guess work out of configuration files, and done most of the work for you. The current version is a little raw, but with all the great feedback, I have a wonderful plan for moving forward with the package. Bizzar.Server is a pre-configured software package, available for Windows XP (with or without SP2) that includes the following software:

Apache ( Homepage )
PHP ( Homepage )
MySQL ( Homepage )
phpMyAdmin ( Homepage )

I am not intending on ruling the world with this software, but I needed something that could quickly and easily be downloaded and installed; and with a quick reboot, I could have a web server running. Most of my scripts use php and mysql thus the reason I'm using that software. I am a Unix admin, so Apache is almost second nature to me. phpMyAdmin is so I can administer my databases with the ease of a web-based solution.

This package is not for everyone, and is certainly not for a production environment. You can of course use it, but I would HIGHLY advise securing it using common internet practices. I did not do this since the target audience was users at home for local testing of web based apps. Nothing more, nothing less. I'm hoping to add a mail server to allieviate the issues that came up, and update the software to the latest builds, but all that takes time.

This site is the home of the Bizzar.Server package and will continue to be as long as this project is alive. I make no money on this project, and my intention is to always keep the basic and fundamental software free. Go Open Source!!! :)
